Welcome to the homepage of the UK Campus Grid Special Interest Group (SIG). This is intended to be a place where those that are involved either in running an existing campus grid within their organisation or are considering setting one up can share best practice, ideas etc.

Meetings

Presentations, and reports etc. from each meeting are linked from the pages below. Agendas for future meetings are provided where available:

Communication

The UK Campus Grid SIG was re-formed following a discussion at the NGS event in Manchester, September 2008. The current chairman is Hugh Beedie (Cardiff) and secretary is Rob Allan (Daresbury Laboratory). In addition to this public Wiki a SciSpace space is used for private papers. Please contact robert.allan at stfc.ac.uk for further information.

The group has a JISCMail email list which can be found by searching for campus-grids at http://www.jiscmail.ac.uk . Please click here to go to join mailing list.

The original group under e-SciNet held SIG meetings as follows, every 6 months physical meetings, with the first in the year (to be normally around the beginning of April) rotating through the participating groups and the second co-located with the UK e-Science All Hands Meeting. Between these meetings every six months we will hold Access Grid Meetings.
